The Soil is a South African a cappella band which consists of 4 members, the first being God and the other three are namely Buhlebendalo Mda, Luphindo Ngxanga, and Ntsika Fana Ngxanga. They are occasionally also supported by two backing vocalists, Asanda and Tshwarelo. The Soil has a South African Music Award for Best R&B/Soul/Reggae Album.
