Ruan Josh is a versatile artist with a career spanning more than 15 years in the local music industry. He is known as a singer, actor, presenter, farmer and businessman, and his contributions to the South African cultural landscape are impressive.
His debut album "Eggo" (2017) achieved Gold Status, and he achieved further success through his participation in the Du Plessis family trio's albums "Kaalvoetkinners" (2017) and "Sing Country" (2021). Ruan has also done production work for popular shows such as Krone (2018) and Afrikaans is Groot (2013-2015). His presentation of "Klein Begin" (2018) on SABC 2 also underlined his versatility as an art expert.
One of Ruan's first highlights was winning the "Best Supporting Actor" in South Africa at the ATKV Teen Theater in 2008 as part of Hoërskool Die Wilgers' stage ensemble. This early recognition paved the way for his success in the industry.
